Assistant Chief and Detective Morris Pate is the first officer to retire from the Eureka Springs Police Department. After many years of loyal service to our community, he is now enjoying his time on his Harley, fishing, and playing with grandkids. He was a pivotal person in the department and will be missed each day behind that desk. Happy trails Mo! You've earned it!
Detective Joe Barbalace retired from the Eureka Springs Police Department in December 2011. After several years of civil service to our community, he is now enjoying his time on his Harley and traveling to see family back in Chicago. Joe left his mark at ESPD and will be missed.
